I had to watch this game in black and white. I grew up studying college basketball as a Jayhawk fan and now I study at Nebraska. It was a challenge to be an objective journalist at this one but it was fun none the less.

These past two and a half weeks I have been settling into my new home in Dubuque, Iowa. Dubuque is a large small town on the Mississippi. The people are kind and they appreciate their local newspaper the Telegraph Herald. Its a good feeling to work for a publication that is wanted. The rest of the staff at the Telegraph Herald is great and I can see the effects they have had on my photography already. I am excited for what the rest of the summer holds.
