Rudy likes to hire street kids because he was one growing up and now that he has his life on track he likes to help others in the same situation, such as Erik.

Rudy Londah, 42 handles a python snake near his snake food stand, Cobra 39 food stand on Mangga Besar Street, Jakarta, Indonesia May 27, 2014. Rudy grew up in Manado, joined a gang as a teenager which led to a life of stealing and killing for money. He had to flee his home and ended up in Jakarta working as a bouncer at a club where he met his current wife. After his daughter miraculously survived a rare heart disease he decided to open Manado Food House and take over Cobra 39 for his father-in-law. Rudy hires street kids to help and advise them into making better decisions then he did.

Erik Sanjaya, 17 sleeps inside Rudy Londah home in Jakarta, Indonesia May 27, 2014. Erik works at Rudy's cobra food stand, Cobra 39. The stand is typically open 4 p.m. till 2 a.m. Erik works the entire shift and then spends his money at a local internet cafe, looking at Facebook and watching wrestling videos. Then he returns to Rudy's house in the morning to sleep before he has to open Cobra 39 again.
